How do I ensure that my AZ qualified charitable donation will be properly documented with form 321 instead of increasing deductions by 25% of the donation amount?

I noticed after the fact that my 2021 taxes did not reduce the total tax owed by the amount donated, instead they only decreased tax liability by 25% of the donated amount. I want to be sure that doesn't happen again.
