Trying to decide if it makes sense to withdraw more from an IRA and use up a solar tax credit as fast as possible (inflation is killing it....). TurboTax doesn't yet have the inflation reduction act waiver of the 400% of poverty level incorporated into it. As a result, tipping over the 400% threshold slams me with paying back all of the APTC whereas in reality it would only get reduced by <10% for every dollar over the threshold.
This has been law since Biden signed it in August. Why hasn't this been updated yet? Decisions need to be made before the end of the year. Tick, tick, tick.....
