Thanks for the info! We determined she can't be a dependent (of any type) on our tax form (see above). The remaining question was whether we could deduct her high medical bills we paid for under a particular ruling that seems to allow it for someone who meets the criteria for Qualifying relatives except for earned income limit. Appreciate all your help.
