If you followed the below steps, the calculated foreign tax credit should show up correctly on line 48 of Schedule 3 (and added to line 12 of your 1040):
- Make sure you've entered all your foreign income.
- From within your return, search for "foreign tax credit" and select the Jump-to link in the search results.
- Click Continue and follow the instructions.
