I just installed 1920 W of off-grid solar system on my property. The solar panels wasn't sit on my house's roof but on an extended structure which I built for that purpose from my garage. The solar hardware and battery cost about $4,500 and the materials for the supporting structure costs about $1,000. I didn't apply any permit since it is off-grid. Can I claimed Solar Energy Tax Credit for my 2022 Tax for the structure and system cots?
