Hi. I would like to piggyback into the conversation regarding tax credits for 2022 EV / Plug in vehicles. I am trying to complete the 8936 form now and it is a bit confusing. I purchased my Prius Prime on 1/10/22 and I hear that the federal tax credit limit of 200,000 vehicles will be reached very soon. Should I or can I submit the 8936 now or do I wait until 2022 is over? I just dont want to find myself out in the cold tax credit wise. Will the Feds look at date of purchase and service when awarding the tax credits? Thanks, Avery
