What you can do now is wait until 4 to 6 weeks after May 20, which would be July 1, and probably longer. The IRS is extremely backlogged this year, and everything is taking much longer than normal. They also have not been keeping "Where's my Refund?" up to date. Some people are waiting 6 months or more for their refunds. Your refund has been delayed because of the error in the Recovery Rebate Credit. There is nothing you can do to speed it up, or to get reliable information about the status. All you can do is wait.
