Deductions & credits

Thanks @SKO for the update. Yes, I think it's fair now that all of us who are affected by the TurbuTax 4684 Form Glitch to demand the e-filing fee to be refunded, and potentially the refund of the entire product.

I've been a TurbuTax customer for over 20 years, and I've never seen the quality of TurbuTax deteriorating like this. Maybe it's a sign of the times, and when events are taking a turn for the worse, it's time to consider the alternatives.

For those affected with the problem, you could just bring up this link:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/help/why-is-my-ca-re[product%20key%20removed]ted-due-t...

which could save you some time with Intuit Customer Service. I believe they will still want to see your screen to confirm, however, so still be prepared to spend at least half an hour with them (in addition to the hold time.)

I'll check out the option to import my TurbuTax's data to H&R Block to efile to the state from H&R Block. Thanks, SKO, for suggesting it.

I know I've been misspelling "TurboTax" in this message, but since it sounds like a fitting moniker, I'm going to keep it as-is. That's still better than calling this product TurdboTax from the ongoing experience.
