Turbotax decided that taking the standard deduction for the Federal return was more beneficial and then checked that itemizing was more beneficial for the CA 540. I need to show $600 charity for Federal and the total itemization for the CA State. I cannot figure that out and do not want to file any amendments because Turbotax cannot calculate charity contributions correctly.
