Please follow the steps below to enter your charitable contribution in the correct place in TurboTax :
- Open your return.
- Click on the Federal Taxes tab.
- Click Deductions &Credits.
- Click on I'll choose what I work on.
- Scroll down and click the Done with Deductions button.
- Continue until you reach the Get a tax break for donating cash to charity screen.
- Enter your charitable cash contributions.
