To see the breakdown of your itemized deductions:
- Login to your account.
- Select Federal from the left menu.
- Go to Deductions and Credits.
- Scroll all the way down and select Wrap up Tax Breaks . On the following screen you can see both deductions.
- Click the drop down arrow next to Show me the breakdown of my itemized deductions.
More taxpayers than ever are taking the standard deduction. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that was signed into law in late 2017 substantially increased the standard deduction for tax years 2018 through 2025.
