TurboTax requires you to do the non-resident state return first or it will not allocate properly. If you did not, you will need to delete your WA return, progress through the CO return, then add WA back and re-enter anything for your WA return.
To delete your WA return in TurboTax Online please follow these steps:
- Within your return click on State in the left-hand black bar menu
- Click Continue to get to the Status of your state returns screen
- Use the trash can icon to delete your WA return
- Click Continue to go through your CO return and verify all entries
- When you get back to the Status of your state returns screen, click Add another state and choose WA
- Progress through your WA return
