Taxes Withheld in More than 3 Non-Resident States
Under federal personal deductions and credits, for tax withholding, it looks like only information for 3 states can be entered. I have invested in a multi-state real estate partnership, and fortunately, only 3 states withheld taxes (this year).
For my resident NJ return, each state entered feeds into a NJ-COJ schedule to get credit for the tax paid.
Is there a way to enter withholding for more than 4 or more non-resident states? If not, and I have to aggregate states to get the total right for federal purposes, do I have to manually add NJ-COJs? is there a TT limit there?
Thanks!
Harold
