To update your charitable donations when taking the standard deduction:
- Login to your return.
- Go to Federal Taxes.
- Go to Deductions and Credits.
- Scroll all the way down and click Done with Deductions or Wrap up Tax Breaks.
- Continue until you get to the screen Charitable Cash Contributions under Cares Act
