The tax refund you received included the remaining 50% tax credit. Half of the payments were sent to early as advance payments and the remainder is claimed on your tax return. Did you go through the Child Tax Credit section and enter the amount of payments you already received? If you did that, then your Child Tax Credit would appear on your tax return at that moment. Did the IRS adjust your return and not include it? You can look at your Form 1040, Line 28 to see to balance of the credit. You should have Schedule 8812 with your return that details out the credit, your early payments and the balance that was claimed on Line 28.
