My daughter filed as a dependent of mine in 2020. I received a stimulus check that included $1400 for her. This year she is filing independently. Turbotax is asking if she received a stimulus check and technically the answer is no as I received it on her behalf. Should she answer this question as "Yes" so as not to receive the credit again. I assume the IRS would not send $1400 to me and then to her now that her filing status has changed.
