Dear Turbo Tax expert, your advice was unfortunately incorrect. Here is my copy and paste response to the customer with the issue.
"Unfortunately, you were given incorrect information by the Turbotax expert and the Federal Review instruction. If you enter "Coronavirus" under disaster name during Federal Review, it will end up on Section C of form 8915-F. The instruction on the form is to not put Coronavirus on that line. Instead the Coronavirus checkmark should be checked in Section D, which is very likely already checked for you. You can verify this if you view your tax return and look at form 8915-F for yourself.
Tech support will likely have to delete the incorrect naming in Section C as I don't know of a way to manually edit the form inside the software.
This bug is unfortunate and hopefully they fix before people have their returns rejected or scrutinized unnecessarily. "
