If your import isn't working properly, many users elect to use the 'summary method' of reporting 1099-B info, as basically only two lines need to be entered in TurboTax.

 

The IRS is really only interested in whether you had a Gain or a Loss and whether it was Short-Term or Long-Term.  Plus, they have a copy of your 1099-B already.

Since we can't see your return in this forum, it would be difficult to say why the 'import' function works for some, but not for others.
