I was on home dentintion for 6 months and I claimed eic and ctc because it asked if I was incarcerated or in a halfway house or In work release I said no because I wasn't. But someone on Facebook said house arrest is considered incarcerated? And I don't qualify to claim ctc or eic.
And if I don't qualify to claim these credits should I admend my tax return and let my daughters mother claim her instead of me because we still haven't gotten our last stimulus check or 2020 tax refund for myself or my daughter. Please any info would be greatly appreciated.
