Dependents
My husband and I are filing separately this year. He received $2800 for his stimulus in March 2021 because he claimed his mother in 2019 and that’s what they based off the stimulus package from to see who’s eligible. We gave birth to a baby boy in November 2021 so he claimed him for 2021. IRS says he’s not eligible to get $1400 because he already received the $1400 for his mother. Does this sound right?
