No you are not wrong.  The third economic impact payment (3EIP) was $1,400 per person on the tax return. The

 

The letter indicates half of the payment for each spouse which totals $4,200 ($1,400 x 3 or $2,100 x2 which is the same result). If it was yourself, your husband and your daughter you received the full amount of the 3EIP. 

 

If you daughter is your dependent for 2021, she would not be entitled to the 3EIP on her 2021 tax return.

 

Definitely enter $4,200 as the amount you received
