If you have not filed, you can simply remove the Form 8938 to proceed. Here are the steps (online):
- Sign into your account, select Take me to my return
- On your left, Select Tax Tools / drop down menu
- Select Tools
- Under Other helpful links, choose Delete Form 8938 and Continue
with My Return to proceed
