If you do not want to get the credit for Child and Dependent Care expenses, this answer from JotikaT2 says to take the following steps:
Go into the federal section of the program.
- Select Deductions & Credits
- Select Child & Dependent Care Credit
- You will see a question asking Did you pay for child or dependent care in 2021? Select No.
- This will remove the credit from being generated on your return.
