Yes, try this.
- Go to "Federal Taxes" at the top of the screen.
- Select "Deductions & Credits"
- Scroll down to "You and Your Family" and select "Show More"
- Select "revisit" next to "Child and Dependent Care Credit"
- As you navigate through your entries, there will be a screen that says Here's what you spent on care providers
- Delete the provider.
- Then you should have no providers listed, however select the + add a care provider and then record the information.
- If this doesn't clear the error, you may need to delete your child in this section as well as the provider.
- Go to tax tools>tools>delete a form>delete form 2441
- Then go back through the section and add your child and provider back in. This should clear the issue once and for all.
