If you are eligible, the credit will end up on line 30 of your 2021 Form 1040.
To preview your 1040:
- Select Tax Tools from the left menu Tools from the drop-down menu.
- Under Other helpful links... click View Tax Summary.
- Select Preview my 1040 near the top of your screen.
