Apparently this is an annoying BUG that comes up every year-- at least the last three now.
All of these solutions that have been offered have been tried and as of Feb 18, 2022, there is NO way to get the QCD to work. Not in Easy Step nor by using Forms and entering the QCD amount directly in 1099R form. It simply does not work. Will this ever get fixed?
