If you consider making a Traditional IRA contribution for tax year 2018 before April 15, 2019, you can enter it in TurboTax as follows:
- Click on Search on the top right of your
screen
- In the search box, type ira
contributions and
click on the magnifying glass icon on the right
- In the search result page,
click on Jump to IRA contributions
- TurboTax will take you
through a questionnaire where you can enter your contributions to an
Traditional IRA
- TurboTax will then tell you if you are allowed to deduct the contribution depending on your income.
