One further clarification just to be sure: Everything in Turbo Tax starts out asking if and refers to this as a "shared policy" however again, the policy was completely separate, in my wife's name, and paid for by her. She was the only covered individual. Yet, I am listed as the Recipient. So this still applies as you stated? Last, does my ex-wife need to also file this on her tax return should we split 50/50?
