Please follow the steps below on how to report gain on the sale of house in TurboTax:
- Click on Tax Home on the Left Side Menu.
- Click on Income & Expenses on the main screen and select Work on Other Income.
- Scroll Down and the last section you should see is "Less Common Income". There will be an option for "Sale of Home (gain or loss)". Press Start next to it and answer the questions accordingly.
