Same thing happened to me. I was notified the State Rejected - "CA_CharitableContributions_Hold". Instructions from Turbotax say to wait until "on or after Feburary 17th" and then go trough the CA returned again from the beginning and re-file.
Do they "know" a fix is being pushed out on 2/17 - or is this just a 'Do it again and see if it works" approach?
I can remove the charitable amount - but the Fed has already been accepted - so the state should be fine too. Fix the issue.
