@Nadiadovgun It depends. As DanaB27 mentions in this thread, this form will only appear in your return if you had adoption expenses in the past that you could not use that are being carried forward for 5 years. In your case, it sounds like you adopted your child several years ago and had no excess credit to carry forward. As a result, you were able to use the full credit in the first year of adoption.
