I should have been more specific, the organization I donate to support the tribes and is organized under Section 501(C)(3) of the internal revenue code. While I have the estimated value per pound for the clothing donated and use that to determine the thrift value of the items donated. I do not know how to include the mailing costs.
I mail the clothing, via the post office. I have kept those receipts. I am trying to determine if I can use a separate money line to deduct the postage paid.
