Adult child dependent - not dependent - dependent again

I claimed my 24-years-old daughter as non-dependent for 2020 so she could get the first 2 stimulus payments. She also received her $1400 in 2021. Last year she was out of college and didn't have any W-2 or 1099 income, so I want to make her dependent again. When I did that, TT added $500 dependent credit and another $1400. I want to keep the $500 credit, but what do I do about the $1400? When I click on "?" in TT it says that these credits are not repayable. Is that so? Even when I am overpaid?
