Revisit the Child and Dependent Care Credit section to make sure you didn't enter any information by mistake.
- Login to your account.
- Select Federal from the left menu.
- Go to Deductions and Credits.
- Scroll down to You and Your Family and select Start/Update next to Child and Dependent Care Credit.
You can also search and delete form 2441 if it is included with your return. Form 2441 is used to report child and dependent care expenses paid for the year.
To delete the form:
- Sign into your account .
- Select Tax Tools on the bottom left and then Tools.
- Select Delete a Form.
- Find the form and select delete next to it.
