When I add employer contributions to my HSA (box 12, code W) my tax liability increases - This should be exempt. Anyone else have this issue?

When I add employer contributions to my HSA (box 12, code W) my tax liability increases - This should be exempt. Anyone else have this issue?
It changes the outcome of my return by an amount equal to approx 35% of the amount in box 12, code W.
