Is the Origination Fee (a fixed dollar amount, not a percentage) for a mortgage Refi deductible?
We refinanced our mortgage, and the Closing Disclosure shows an Origination Fee = $1,499 (a flat rate, not based on a percentage), but it is not listed on the 1098. Is that Origination Fee deductible?
