My home was flooded in hurricane Harvey. I How do I fill-in the blanks for the structure damage for the calculation of flood damage using the safe harbor?
I understand there is a calculation of flood damage to my home for 1 foot of water using the safe harbor rule ($117/sq ft). Where do I fill-in the blanks in the program for this calculation? Also, for home content loses, I am lumping the losses together, but the program asks for date acquired that is various. How do I complete that box? I did receive insurance for the losses. Basically, I am trying to use the prompts in the program to fill in the blanks for the casualty loss from the hurricane, but I am having trouble inputing the data using the correct title for the hurricane loses. (Hurricane Harvey is a recognized federal disaster.) Thanks
