Turbo Tax for 2018 inserted that my wife was disabled when I did her our federal taxes. I don't recall tick a box stating she is disabled. The state however thinks she is on Social Security disability vs just regular SS at age 62+. They are weighing it again my military retierment and both can't be claimed in my state.
Was there an option to select that status in 2018? or did Turbo Tax mess up my taxes?
I have to pay back the difference and I'm worried that it will trickle down to the 2 tax years. I need to find out how to correct this if I'm going to keep on using TT. I been using it since day 1 almost.
