You can remove start up costs a couple of ways.
1. Navigate back to the self-employed section and edit your business. Scroll down to the expenses and select the trash can to remove the startup costs (attachment 1).
2. Delete the form under Tax Tools, Tools Delete a form. Scroll the list for a worksheet titled 'Election to Amortize startup Costs' and delete (attachment 2).
