For the child tax credit: I filed this last year for my daughter and received the first credit of the $250. I have talked with her mother who will claim her this upcoming year and we both want to understand how the credit works for both households and also I am curious about if we are going to have to pay some of that back come tax season? In other words, is the tax credit worth us receiving or is it just a headache?
