I bought a second home a condo which a friend is living in she is paying the mortgage payments but I'm on the mortgage and we are both on the deed.
Can one of us claim deductions for these taxes and payments for the mortgage? If so how long do we have to do an amended return because neither of us knew this and weve owned it for 3 years.
