Used vehicle. Took the time to improve vehicle for person receiving it by having a noticeable dent removed, having the interior carpet replaced and the interior ceiling liner replaced; new tires, new brakes, new rotors, new wiring, timing belt, and all fluid flush. Ran great. Gave it away to be charitable to someone in need. Can I claim the vehicle somehow on my taxes? I only saw ways to claim donations to a charity.
