<<TT should enable the option to let user to determin the calculation base on 2019 tax or 2020 tax to be fair enough. Otherwise some people get the payment based on 2019 tax, while some people get stimulus based on 2020 tax, that is not fair calculation. >>
While I appreciate your issue of 'fairness', Congress didn't pass a law that permitted taxpayers to choose which year to based the Recovery Credit on.
