Does Home/Business 2018 support the simplified method of taking a tax credit for foreign taxes paid on a mutual fund dividends? It says I have to deduct or attach 1116.

After entering $35.19 from Box 7 on my 1099-DIV, TurboTax says my return has an error because I haven’t checked the box to deduct the foreign tax on Schedule A or attached a Form 1116.  I don’t want to do either.  It correctly put the tax on Schedule 3 and Form 1040 line 12.  Can I eFile with this error?
