Since the numbers can’t be changed, just double-check them again and move on.

It’s possible that the IRS might reject your return on the basis of the same numbers – what are the odds two different policies would have the same last 15 digits, after all? – and, in that case, you’d have to file a paper return.

The policy numbers are critical requirements to Part IV of Form 8962, so they do need to be entered.
