Yes AmyC!!!! This is what I needed. Thank you!
For anyone else having this problem, and having trouble editing your state schedule A, this is more specifically what I had to do (on a desktop Mac): open Schedule A in "forms" (not "easy step") for the state (I opened in separate window); go to the apple apps menu for Turbotax; go to Edit; and then "override." This let me edit the form on Schedule A, line one.
