You can use the 2019 Adjusted Gross Income instead of your 2020 income when claiming the child tax credit. Here's how:
- Click on Deductions & Credits
- Edit Child and Other Dependent Tax Credit
- Continue to Do you want to use last year’s earned income?
- Say Yes.
