Perhaps you don't have a choice of Standard or Itemized because you didn't enter any Schedule A type Deductions & Credits.
If this is the case, please go back under Deductions & Credits and enter 300 as a cash charity contribution.
Please then repeat the steps I sent earlier.
be sure to only enter 300
no decimals
