TurboTax documentation of direct IRA MRD distribution to a qualified charity and charitable contributions.

I realize I cannot claim a direct MRD distribution to a qualified charity from my IRA as a charitable deduction if I use it to reduce the taxable amount of distribution from my IRA. I do not know how TurboTax handles the math; where it adds and where it subtracts.  So I want to clarify what inputs I should make.  The IRA /1099R input only requires a dollar amount of the qualified distribution to charity, not an itemization of charities.  The donations to charity input requires donation amounts by charity.

My specific question:  If I make direct distributions from the MRD portion of my IRA of $2000 to Charity A and $4000 to Charity B and in addition make a $500 cash contribution (for which I have a separate receipt) to Charity A,  I make an entry of $6000 in the IRA module.  Now what entries do I make in the deduction module?  Charity A $2500 and Charity B $4000 or Charity A $500 and Charity B $0?
