You may need to delete the input for the self-employment income to remove this error message if you did not have this activity in 2020 and do not intend to have it in the future.
- Go into the Federal section of the program.
- Select Income & Expenses
- Select Self-employment income and expenses
- When you see the name of your business, select the trash can icon to the right of Edit. This should delete the business.
